FIXITWAY · FREIBURG IM BREISGAU
Privacy on this website
The controller for fixitway.de is RS GmbH, Tullastraße 89, 79108 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Region and language preferences are stored for functionality. Device and partner searches use the FixitWay API. Google Maps loads only after separate activation; Google then receives connection data and any address you enter for map searches. Your browser requests your location only when you ask.
The web server processes necessary connection data. Where optional analytics is configured, a consent choice is shown for Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited). Only after consent are page views and selected entry-link clicks sent to Google together with technical connection data. Our events exclude search text, form inputs, IMEIs, URL parameters and referrers. Analytics cookies and your choice last no longer than 180 days. User and event data in Analytics are retained for two months without resetting the retention period on new activity; aggregated reports may remain longer. Advertising stays disabled. Processing in the USA is possible. You can withdraw consent in Analytics settings at any time. Use “Disable map” or reload the page to stop an activated map. Send privacy enquiries by post to the operator below.
Purposes and legal bases
Necessary connection data supports delivery and security of this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure operation). Device and partner searches you request are processed to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Optional analytics and maps rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where device information is stored or accessed, section 25(1) TDDDG). Necessary preference storage falls under section 25(2)(2) TDDDG.
Device search and other applications
If you submit the optional IMEI search, the device identifier is sent to our platform API and to IMEI.info for identification. You can instead select your device manually. The IMEI is not used in URL parameters or analytics events. Repair requests, status checks, partner registration and demos open app.fixitway.com, where the notices for each flow apply.
Google services and transfers
For optional audience measurement we use Google Analytics from Google Ireland Limited as a processor. It receives pseudonymous cookie identifiers, session information, technical browser/device information and the events described above. Google Signals, ad personalisation and detailed location/device collection are disabled. Maps are a separate Google Maps integration. Google may also process data in the USA and describes the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and supplementary standard contractual clauses for transfers. See the linked Google information for details.
